Bob was a longtime resident of Riverside, former resident of Beverly and presently a resident of Delanco. He was a graduate of St. Peter's Parochial School and Riverside High School, Class of 1955, where he was Captain in his Junior and Senior Year of the Varsity Baseball Team. After graduation he played semi-pro baseball with the Riverside Bombers. He was employed for 35 years as a Postal Clerk at the Riverside Post Office and as a Cashier at the Moorestown Pathmark, where he was known for his friendly personality, keen wit and love for telling jokes. He loved being with people. Bob was a member of the South Jersey Umpire Association and later started his own association called the River Front Umpire Association. He was a member of Jesus, the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Joseph's Church, Beverly, where he was a former Usher and past President of the PTA. Bob's love was baseball and playing cards with the family. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Philadelphia Phillies. He was a very warm and caring person, and was known all around the Riverfront communities. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Heether, his brother, Larry, and sister, Joan. Beloved father of Dr. Joseph J. Heether and Donna Bonner and husband, Michael all of Beverly; sister, Janet Dickinson and husband, Thomas; and the devoted grandfather of Sean Bonner and Michael P. Bonner. He is also survived by his former wife, Veronica Heether of Beverly. Relatives and friends of Bob's family are invited to his viewing and visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening, and 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, at Jesus, the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Joseph's Church, Warren Street, Beverly. Ricky" Sweet of Browns Mills, age 67 years, passed away suddenly July 27, 2018, at home. He was a lifelong resident of Browns Mills and was a retired Plant Supervisor for the Pemberton Township Municipal Utilities Authority after 35 years. Ricky loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was the beloved husband of Lynn (Tonne); dear father of Gloria L. Sweet-Rodriquez and Robert Dilks of Browns Mills; and stepfather of Eric Endre and wife, Claudia of Tijuana, Mexico; devoted grandfather of Francesca and Ricky; dear brother of John Sweet and Douglas of Delaware; and son-in-law of Ruth Tonne of Roebling. Rose of Delran, age 95 years, passed away November 3, 2018. She was a native of Morrisville, Pa and resident of Delran for the past 72 years. Tacy was a graduate of Rider College. Her hobbies included baking, gardening, quilting and sewing. She especially loved being with her grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Lawrence H. Rose who died in 1998.
